Well we came and we conquored yet again. With the new league season kickin off next week i’m excited to see what we can do.

Tonight we did it again! Snapple Caps came and dominated like the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse! The competition was fierce but in the end we held back our fierce rivals the evil Asterisks!
Once again last night the glorious team Snapple Caps laid waste to the competition using the tried and true battle tactic of scorch and burn. Destroying the two other teams of true competition. There was the “bar team” that somehow had more points but I think we know why! First place is First place and that 30$ gift card pays well no matter if you beat out 20 teams or 2 teams.
It seems the competition level has been slowly dropping off for some time now. Some would have you think it is because school is back in and the bar is dying, but Mr Mindbomb i believe touched on the correct answer. Teams are tired of us kicking their ass! I imagine this is what we all look like as we walk into the bar to our competition……..
Congrats to the team! Let’s do it again next week!
First to Worst to First!
Talk about bringing it! I unfortunately was not there last night so I have no details of the utter domination that team Snapple Caps unleashed on the world of Trivia, but talk about regaining our dignity and striking fear into our opponents! I’m sure they’ll be quivering when we show up next week!

That is right bitches Snapple Caps Reign Supreme for the second time ever at team trivia! After an unprecedented run of 5 weeks in a row of finishing in the money (top three) our streak was broken last week. What did we do? Came back with a vengeance and took what is rightfully ours! First Place!!!
Those who follow ZC closely will probably recall the infamous post from September 24 2008 declaring our first ever 1st place victory, well tonight we are back in the winners circle, kings of the world, like LL said DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK!!
It was a great effort on everyone’s part with key contributions from all. The final question and the amount to wager was greatly influenced by Hanzosword and Mrs. Mindbomb and that was instrumental in our victory! That said though we would not have been able to do it with out all cylinders clicking. Heck thanks must be paid to all past snapple cappers and those who did not make it for helping us sharpen our whits over the weeks (and i mean weeks) of preparation for this moment.
It is going to be nice walking around all week with the “championship swagger” that we will all have. That big $30.00 check is gonna be burning all week just begging to be spent!
Just so all the haters know we finally got serious tonight and signed up to get a league number. What did the team do…. What we do best dominate, kick ass, and take names!

I’m sure many folks out on the interweb always wonder what do those insightful folks at Zombie Chatter do when they are not busy blogging? Well for the past several months we go to Trivia on Tuesday nights together. We are the Snapple Caps and we have fought many battles at Trivia in an effort for the ultimate prize…. a $50.00 bar tab.
Last night was a momentous occasion for us all as we have come close to winning and even placed in the top three a few times but last night with a combined mental effort and fortitude of our team we finally broke through and destroyed the competition! We took home the gold in true Michael Phelps fashion!
Throughout the night we overcame adversity and even put up with mocking from our nemesis opponents. In the end none of that mattered as Mindbomb came through with the clutch final answer that pushed us over the top!
We have considered retiring. Going out on top is always nice, but John Elway sat at this crossroads years ago after finally winning his first championship……. Like Elway we have decided that one is not enough! We’ve tasted the water on Mount Olympus and Zeus be damned WE WANT MORE!
