My ode to great Midget….uh hum, I mean Little People movie characters.

Just remember, they are people too.

Hanz from Freaks:

As the circus owner who makes the mistake of marrying an “average size” woman, Hanz is slowly poisoned by his wife who wants to take control of the circus.  Although Hanz, the child-man midget is a bad-ass, his crew is even crazier.  They take revenge on the woman at the end…Freak-style.

Master Blaster from Mad-Max Thunderdrome:

Master is the brains, Blaster is the brawns.  Together they are master blaster…..and Master Blaster runs Boarder Town…

Willow from Willow:

By far the coolest dwarf actor on the planet.  Warrick Davis, known best for his role as the title character in Willow, also played the role of Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. 

This is old, but I’ve never seen it. If you need something to make you laugh on a monday morning….this should do it.

A South America town is living in fear after several sightings of a ‘creepy gnome’ that locals claim stalks the streets at night.

The midget - which wears a pointy hat and has a distinctive sideways walk - was caught on video last week by a terrified group of youngsters. Teenager Jose Alvarez - who filmed the gnome - yesterday told national newspaper El Tribuno that they caught the creature while larking about in their hometown of General Guemes, in the province of Salta, Argentina. 

I don’t know how real this is, but I found this article on the web at www.thesun.co.uk.  Seriously, if there is just an ounce of truth to this article, I have a new-found fear.  Gnomes…..they are scarier then midgets.  A friggin’ sideways walk?  What the hell is that?  You can actually see it in the video below.  It’s like he is dancing on my soul….the nightmare to come.

Well, May 5th is coming soon…..I guess.  That means that our favorite hispanic holiday Cinco de Mayo (translation:  the 5th of May) is coming too. 

I don’t know what it is about this holiday that brings out the best drunken fun in everybody, or what seems to relate it to Midgets, Dwarfs and Little People….but for some reason a liquor promotional company listed the following job ad on Craigs List today…Enjoy!

The dwarfs are needed to work in Atlanta on Monday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) for a 4 (four) hour “shift” meeting & greeting, mix and mingling, handing out liquor premiums & souvenirs, taking photos with customers and patrons.

BRAND AMBASSADOR CHARACTERS

The dwarfs will work as the client’s “character” as a dwarf in a sombrero and poncho provided by our client promoting Mexican liquor while bar hopping with a group of team captains from the client’s liquor company.

COSTUMES

Our client will provide ALL costumes.
