I’m sure every one of you has seen the viral video sensation that is the Winnebago Man. It’s one of the original virals that may only be topped by the Star Wars Kid video. So, there’s a documentary about him that I watched last night and it was really good. The original video is one of those internet classics that you get a good laugh at someone else’s expense and it never gets old. In the Documentary, Jack Rebney aka “The Angriest Man in the World”, is tracked down to find out how this video and its popularity has affected his life and outlook on life. The result may surprise you. It’s a very interesting story that will keep you laughing and at the same time make you feel sentiments toward him.

It’s available on Netflix (DVD only), or you can watch it in its entirety for $3.99 on youtube here: Winnebago Man

As Jack Rebney would say “Do yourself a Kindness” and give this doc a watch.

This movie looks like it could be pretty funny. I actually wanted to post a different trailer for this movie that contained the WILCO song “Nothing’severgonnastandinmyway (Again)” ……but I couldn’t find it on youtube. Keep an eye, or ear open for that one.

Richter, who was O’Brien’s sidekick for seven years on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” will be the announcer when his buddy takes over as host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” on June 1, the network has announced.

It’s been almost nine years since they worked together on a daily basis. They should have never stopped working together, which was obvious during O’Brien’s final “Late Night” on Friday, when Richter helped O’Brien say goodbye by showing clips of some of their favorite old skits.

Thankfully Richter also will participate in comedy bits on “The Tonight Show.”

“Andy is one of the funniest people I know and we’ve maintained a close friendship since he left “Late Night,” O’Brien said in a press statement. “We have a proven chemistry that will be an incredible asset to ‘The Tonight Show.’ I’m looking forward to working with Andy on a daily basis again, particularly since he owes me $300.”

As a huge fan of the show, i’m pretty excited about Andy coming back.  I remember feeling a bit cheated when he left the show because I always thought of the two as a comedy “team”.  I also loved watching the guests sit in the middle of them and try to decide whether or not to even acknowledge Andy’s presence.

Can’t wait for the first time they “take the desk for a drive”

The title makes this seem twisted….and that’s because it is. 4:30 minutes of baby kicking awesomeness. Go ahead and watch it…you know you want to.

Some friends of my brother competed in the 2008 48 Hour Film Project in Atlanta and won with the following entry.

Random genre was Road Trip and were required to have a frozen drink, a character named Cynthia Vintea, and the line “What do you mean, we’re out of it?”.

Voted “Best Film” and “Audience Pick” of the 2008 Atlanta 48 Hour Film Project. This is a re-edited version of that film.

Here is one of my favorite bits (from the more recent years)…Modern Man.

It must have been a pain in the ass to make and edit this.  These guys make a bunch of short comedy videos that are really good.  www.baratsandbereta.com  for more of their stuff.
