1st Place Science Fair Project
Duluth, MN – Jeremy Clausser recently took first place at the Jefferson Middle School Spring Science Fair. His study on birds and how they are reproducing at a rapid rate caught the eye of judge Judy Smith who described the experiement as, “… a revelation on how we will look at bird populations for years to come.” Another judge, Dr. Jeff Gallup, reacted to the experiment by stating, ” Darwin… watch out we have a new sherrif in town!”
The experiment has put Jeremy in the spotlight. Recently he was contacted by National Geographic to do an official article in an upcoming issue. When asked about this whole experience, Jeremy replied with, ” I knew birds fucked everywhere and I had a science project do to. Everything fit together nicely. I am pretty excited about everybodies response.” See some of Jeremy’s competition at the science fair at the link below.
