Recently a buddy of mine from the west coast turned me onto this song by Red Fang called Prehistoric Dog. It all happened last week when he dropped me an email. In it he was trying to get me to sign some petition to support the arts. I’m always down for that then afterwards he shoots me a youtube link of this band I have never heard of called Red Fang. Pretty nice name, but can they live up to it? They are from Portland Oregon and have been around for a few years. This is the only song by them I’ve heard but it is pretty rockin. They remind me a lot of the Sword. Just like the aforementioned they are not breaking the mold but they are rockin what they do pretty hard. These guys seem to have taken what Kyuss was doing and made some slight changes. Sounds like some great background music for a long drive on the highway.

I’ll have to check out some more of their stuff and see what the other songs are like, but I thought this video was pretty awesome and wanted to share it. Even if you are not a big rock fan this video is worth a peak. What more do you want from a video when it starts off with four guys shotgunning beers and ends with fake blood squirting everywhere? This is by far one of the best video’s I’ve seen in a while!
