I really Can’t wait to see this movie!!!!!! And personally I hated the concept of Rage Zombies in 28 Days/weeks later

“After the success of 28 Days Later, we had a bunch of great and well funded zombie movies come out…but that just isn’t the case these days. In fact, it seemed to me that Quarantine, the most recent Zombie movie to hit the big screen, tried to stay away from the fact that it was a zombie film in the previews and marketing…”

Oh please. Don’t even start with those movies. I personally think that 28 Days Later (and 28 Weeks Later) sucked. Though, I’m sure others would agree. And these had what I call the ‘New Zombies.’ Zombies that can now… run fast, use weapons, is able to comprehend things so as to avoid getting killed, and can communicate. And TECHNICALLY these weren’t ‘zombies’ becuase the definition of a zombie is a reanimated corpse. They die then become a zombie, which would take a bit of time. But as seen in the movie, when the blonde girl got bitten in the beginning (of 28 weeks later), within seconds she immediately turned into a zombie. Not just that. The film 28 Days Later depicts the outbreak of an engineered “rage virus” which transforms its victims into a zombie-like state; however, they maintain higher cerebellar function. They exhibit pack and hunting behavior and move too fluidly to be classified as true zombies.

Overall, it had bad effects, bad writing and was horrible. Wasn’t happy with it.

Now can someone explain why the hell other people put I Am Legend, and Quarantine are on the ‘Zombie Movie’ list?
