Getting tired of hearing about the upcoming presidential election? Who wants to keep hearing how capitalism is about to be thrown out the window if Obama is elected, or that McCain is Bush’s bitch?
Sometimes it’s just too hard to figure out who’s telling the truth, and who’s telling a lie. Add in that the media has turned to more commentary than news, and American voters are left without an objective source of information.
But now you can learn a bit about our presidential candidates, debunc the lies and myths, and have a little fun, too.
Enter Truth Invaiders. This is the political re-incarnate of Space Invaiders, in which you protect your White House Spaceship/Political lie from the Truth. The truths and lies are pulled from the pages of PolitiFact.com and FactCheck.org. To begin the game you pick your myth/lie that you’d like learn about. Then, playing as the White House, you shoot missles at the approaching lie to destroy it and turn it into the truth.
It’s a pretty basic re-make of the video game classic. It’s not going to keep you entertained for hours, but it’s worth a game or two. If nothing else, you can blow some things up and say that you were being politically active.
