President Pelosi??
This is a call to all Democrats out there. We must find a way to replace Nancy Pelosi from her Speaker of the House responsibilities. Why? She’s too close to becoming the next President of the United States!!
How so? Let’s look at a couple of scenarios that would propel her to be the US’s first female president.
Scenario 1: Obama & Biden win the election. There’s no shortage of news stories linking Obama to many shady characters (unless you’re relying on MSNBC or other “mainstream” media outlets). In fact, Obama scandals are about to reach porportions only known by Clinton in his Presidential prime. Let’s just examine one specific association: Tony Rezko.
Rezko was recently convicted of fraud, using his real estate connections to receive kickbacks from the Illinois government. Obama was a state senator when this was going on. In fact, Rezko and Obama are close associates. Why else would Rezko have been so intimately invovled in the purchase of the Obama’s home (in a dual transaction in which the Rezko’s purchased a parcel of land adjacent to the Obama home and later sold it back to Obama). Of course, this deal, and many of the other dealings between Obama and Rezko could have been on the “up and up.” But what if they weren’t? Rezko’s sentencing has been delayed while he discusses with federal prosecutors his many dealings with officials (such as Obama and Illinois Governor Blagojevich).
So let’s assume that something major hits the fan regarding Obama and Rezko. Obama could be forced out of office if convicted of any crimes resulting from his association/dealings with Rezko. That leaves VP Joe Biden as the new President. However, just as many have concerns over McCain’s age, we must remember that Biden stands tall at 66 years old…merely 6 years younger than McCain! If sickness/age/natural causes were to render Biden’s aged body & mind unsuitable for the presidency….enter new President Nancy Pelosi!
Scenario 2: McCain and Palin win the election. The main reason people tell me they pay so much attention to Palin is because McCain is so old, and there’s a good chance that he might not make it through 4 tough years of the presidency. At 72 years old, let’s assume age is the reason McCain no longer is the President of the United States.
Just as Obama has many scandals surrounding him, Palin also has a few skeletons in her closet. Most notable is the investigation over her misuse of power pertaining to the firing/non-firing of a Alaska state trooper. Although this is a bit more of a reach than the Obama associations, if there were to be some criminal charges filed and convicted against Palin….enter new President Pelosi!!
Sure, these two scenarios reach a bit, but they’re not entirely unfounded. Both Biden and McCain have seen their better years pass them by, and Obama’s past is littered with potential land mines that could explode at any moment. Throw in Palin’s investigation, and you have a situation with a few wierd events that leads us to President Pelosi!
So, democrats, I emplore you to look at your party leadership. Take a good look at Pelosi’s policies and actions as Speaker of the House. Pelosi does not represent herself as anything close to resembling Presidential. Is this who we want standing 3-deep in the presidential line of succession?
I think this is a bipartisan movement both Democrats and Republicans could get behind, and really make a difference…really make a change!

If you haven’t heard about the Obama and Bill Ayers connection…you should really do some research on “The Weather Underground” and watch the entire documentary. If the Weather Underground was around today, Bill Ayers would be getting waterboarded at an “undisclosed location” right now.

Yeah for the record Palin was found guilty of Abusing her Power on Monday, but no one seemed to care.

When asked about it she frowned a little then smiled real big, blinked her eye, and said You Betcha i did that i was feeling like a Maverick that day!

I just thumbed through the report. Interesting. It says that Palin did abuse her authority. Her authority was not abused in the firing of Commissioner Monegan.
Reading through the finding, she abused her power by not stopping her husband from contacting people regarding the potential firing of the trooper. So, she violated the ethics rule because her husband contacted people regarding a situation involving family members. The fact that family members are involved triggers a personal interest in the issue. And the fact that Palin’s husband made calls means that she should have stopped him from doing so.
Overall, this is pretty weak. And, actually, the “real” investigation is still ongoing. This was just a legislative inquiry finding (similar to the meetings you see with big oil vs. senators). The reason you won’t be seeing many people talking about this is the wording the report lays out regarding ethical behavior. I’m sure all states and the federal government has this type of policy. The problem? Everyone and their brother could be hit by findings like this. You could make the case that everyone on the take from Fannie & Freddie would be guilty of this (according to Alaskan law–you’d have to look at the specific US ethics codes) if they voted in favor of any favorable bill for these companies.
Overall, I think the issue is pretty much a non-issue. I was expecting more here, and was disappointed that there wasn’t really anything to it. The recommendations on this report don’t pertain to any of Palin’s doings, in fact they mostly call for changes that would release the information that Mr. Palin was asking for! Hopefully something jucier will come of this.

oh, she wasn’t found guilty, it wasn’t a trial or anything. It was a report of “findings.” I’m pretty sure there’d have to be some due process here for serious action to be taken.
