Radiohead
Here is a nice little clip from last night’s show. I’m not sure who did the filming but they literally must have been within 5 feet (probably a little to the right) of Chadinator and I last night because this was pretty much our vantage point for the concert.
This was my first time seeing them live and overall it was good. Many songs from Kid A, Amnesiac, & Hail to the Thief really come to life live. It was great seeing them recreate all the sounds right there on stage. Not much was played from the bends/ok computer era which is my favorite so obviously that was a bit disappointing, but I can appreciate them not wanting to play the same songs over and over again. The only problem is much of there latter music is a little slower paced. Which I like in the right mood but not my typical concert experience. I know Chadinator and I would cringe every time they rolled the piano out.
From the new album Bodysnatchers and Reckoner translate very well live. Also Bangers n Mash was quite rocking!
Of course they did play Paranoid Android as part of the last encore and as far as I’m concerned any let down in the setlist was otherwise made up by the inclusion of this one song.
Check one more big band off the dwindling list of bands I need to see before I die.

Holy Crap….Goes to show that cell phone video never turns out all that good at a concert!
All-the-same, this sounds and looks like it was alot of fun!

I have never been so agry at the site of a rolling piano. I agree with SoItGoes that Paranoid Android made up for it all! All-in-all a cool concert experience. Radiohead is one of my favorite bands and now I have seen them.

Glad you both got to see them, I agree that too much “sad bastard” music at a show can bring it down….
