NBA Playoffs - Radiohead Commercial
“House of Cards” is featured in an NBA playoff commercial. The NBA is clearly trying to get my demographic interested in the NBA again. I must admit that this commercial spoke to me. It is the one where two NBA star’s faces are morphed together and talking about how winning is everything. It sure is nice to have a team in Atlanta winning games in the playoffs again.

I have not seen the House of Cards commercial yet. Maybe i’ll see it tonight. I’ll be switching back and forth between Wed Night Baseball on ESPN and the Hawks game.
IF and it is the biggest IF ever the hawks could win tonight and bring it back home to the Highlight Factory they might pull off one of the biggest basketball upsets in quite a long time.
for the record i just checked and tix for Friday nights game are sold out. That said i would be down for going to a rockin sports bar friday to watch the Hawks embarress Thug Nation aka Boston Celtics.
I feel i am getting ahead of myself though. As nice of a story as the hawks are right now they are still the hawks and the Celtics did win about twice as many games as the hawks for a reason.
The hawks are playing with house money now though and anything from here on out is gravy!

I looked into going last Saturday….however, tix were wicket expensive for shitty seats.
It would be fun to go have a few beers down there at a good sports bar if they come back though. Not to sound like an f-ing hippie, but the energy down there will be awesome!
